Watch Now France vs Australia Gary Payton on why LeBron is better than Durant, King James joining Lakers | NBA | UNDISPUTED

Joining Shannon Sharpe, Skip Bayless and Eboni Williams in studio on Undisputed to discuss all things NBA, Gary Payton breaks down why LeBron James is a better basketball player than Kevin Durant, noting why King James’ dynamic skillset will fit in wherever he takes his talents next, no matter whether it’s the Los Angeles Lakers, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Houston Rockets or any other team. Additionally, Payton weighs in on why he disagrees with Shaquille O’Neal’s remarks about LeBron’s legacy and why he believes Michael Jordan had a better supporting cast than people like to remember when discussing who the true G.O.A.T. is.

  1. I remember when he said, if he added a jump shot then he would be on Kevin Johnson’s level. Everyone laughed. Now everyone is like, “Who’s Kevin Johnson?”

  2. Jordan only had 2 hall of famers on his team, lebron had d Wade, Chris bosh, Kevin love, kyrie, ray Allen and the list goes on and yet he only won 3 championship lol yall making it seem like Jordan had 6 hall of famers in his team???

  3. The Cavs had four players with championship experience, one of the best pure shooters in the game who was also a former all-star, a veteran point guard who had lots of playoff experience, as well as a good collection of young talent. But none of them were used to their full potential. They were used to LeBron’s full potential. LeBron had a workload that he didn’t need. Rodney Hood excelled when given the chance. Lue was only giving him garbage time minutes. Korver was the focus of the Golden State defense, but LeBron never set an off-ball screen for him. Why not put Hill on the wing and Tristan on the elbow, and run an elevator doors play for Korver, with LeBron and Tristan doing the screening? Because that doesn’t give LeBron a stat. He has to give the ball up to Hill, and Hill gets the assist, and Korver gets the points. LeBron is the second biggest body on his team, but he never used it for off-ball screens. Screeners don’t get the glory.

  4. When a good guest comes on these FS1/ESPN debate shows they always put the regulars to shame and fun fact it’s NOT a coincidence

  5. Shannon Sharpe asking questions he already know the answer to in an attempt to support his argument about Lebron lol Lebron Best Player in the World

  6. Payton is jealous of Mike. Mike made his team best by putting them in their roles. Everyone on his team knew exactly their job/role

  7. Lebron is the most USED. Basically A more efficient Russell Westbrook.

Ask lebron to score and his defense suffers. Ask lebron to defend and he gets to tired to run the offense.

How many excuses these young bloods gonna make for the guy? He’s a all time great but will never top that list.

  8. Damn, Eboni Williams went from being on Fox News on Bill O’Reilly’s show which got about 5-6 million viewers a night to a First Take wannabe show like this which can’t even get half a million viewers.

  9. Sharp just wants to be right. That’s what’s wrong with the newer generation as a whole is everyone wants to be right and have all of the answers. The load LeBron carried is because he put it on himself to carry. Kudos to Bron for breaking records….that’s what’s supposed to happen BUT when a player has the control LeBron has over a team and is that much bigger physically with the skill and ability Bron possesses then a phenomimal player such as MJ was then all the records are expected to be broken including championships. Championships are result of being humble, letting others of significance help you, and obviously development and assertion of a strong mentality to step up and take over when necessary. It’s all about mental toughness manifested into better choice making. Allow yourself to be helped.

  10. He not the best basketball player in the world. He makes everyone change their game when playing with him. J.r had to change his game to play with him. Chris bosh had to change his game to play with. Kevin love had to change his game. He makes his team’s stagnant cause they have to sit and wait for a pass from lebron when thats not their game

  11. Mike had Craig Huhges, Bill Cartwright, Stacy King, Steve Kerr, Luke Longley, Harper, a 7footer that backed up Cartwright, Dennis Rodman, then another little point guard they drafted looked like a little boy. LBJ had Bosh, Wade Kyrie, name some other players that showed up everynite. Food for thought go figure

  12. Mr. Bayless do you believe that any other “Superstar” could be put on the Cav’s roster in the place of Mr. James and they would still get to the Finals? If so which player could take the place of Mr. James on the Cav’s?

  13. The other little point guard BJ Armstrong & the BULLS of Mike’s time better team defense & Scottie P these cats balled. Think if Mike didn’t when 6 with the squads he had then what. Put that type of squad around LBJ he would’ve won 8 food for thought go figure

  14. Just happened to come to this forum and yes, again. People miss the point. Stop comparing LeBron to Jordan! The man he admired and plays like is Magic Johnson! Done! Enough said.
