On this episode of Breaking Trail, Coyote and the crew will attempt to use nothing but water to catch one seriously speedy lizard!

The Desert Iguana, a relative to the more commonly known Green Iguana, is one of the few reptile species that is active during the heat of day in Southern Arizona…while this definitely helps the team in terms of visibility, braving the searing hot 105°F desert environment is no walk in the park.

Will Coyote and the crew be able to take the heat and catch the Iguana they’re after?

  1. RE-POSTING this previously two-part episode now combined into one. Now you can enjoy the Epic Lizard Catch unabridged:)

    1. You just probably collapsed its burrow after the erosion and water runoff. Not really helping the lizard there.. now he has to find or dig a new burrow to escape the mid day heat.

We do the same stuff but on our farm. For armadillo burrows.. we flood them out just the same so horses and cattle wont break their legs.

    2. Would you please do an episode with the Copperhead snake? I live in North Carolina and run into snakes all the time and it would be valuable to know how to spot them! Thanks for everything ❤️

    3. I thought you where tricking us with a re post to just upload but I was wrong don’t judge a book by its cover read the comment secttion

  2. Wanna know something cool? Desert iguanas eat each others poop. Wait… Am I supposed to be disgusted or thinking it’s cool lol.

  3. Hey Coyote do an episode over the crab spider I don’t know the real name but I see them all the time and find them interesting.

  4. 7:45 Lizard appears! That so cool! 😀 I was kind of afraid maybe the lizard had escaped through a second entrance, but nope.

  5. Coyote: hey girl, want to date?
Woman: nah let’s just be friends..
Coyote: I’ve just entered the friend zone
    Camera man: you alright?

  6. Hey Coyote try exploring the South Californian high desert. We have 3 the Mojave desert, the Colorado desert, and the Great Basin desert each one full of fantastic creatures

  7. Yeah that’s how the monsoon works. There’s no low pressure system before 5 gallons of water goes directly in a hole. The animals have no idea it’s going to rain. Uh, no.
