  1. This is the very first Tame Impala song I listen to and I can’t get why they try to sound 80’s. Am I missing something about the band’s habits?

  2. Get your finest headphones/earphones (Bose Over-Ear for me), turn off all the lights, close your eyes, lie down and listen, really listen, trust me

  3. Didnt hit home for me like the other three albums hopefully the rest of the album will be better. Its gonna be hard to top what he did with currents, the album is perfect.

  4. The trouble I’ve always had with Tame Impala is that everything pumps at the same volume continuously. When I see live musicians, one of the biggest things I respond to is their leaps and dives from quiet to loud to quiet again. It’s one of the best tools a musician has to thrill us. If you take all the dynamics out, I kinda can’t tell if you’ve got the magic touch or not. It’s not a good vibe or a bad vibe, it’s like…not having a vibe. I like non-dynamic music when it’s coming from machines though, like on a Kraftwerk album or whatever…cause it’s robots doing what they do best. But in this setting, it feels like a waste of human musicians to compress everything so hard. Anyways, no disrespect if you be liking Tame Impala.

  5. 1st listen: Meh!!
    2nd listen: I will give a oportunity
    3rd listen: This is perfect...

  6. Me esperaba algo innovador como de costumbre pero veo que tiene aun el mismo viajesito del currents me gusta pero no como en otras ocasiones cuando realmente me sorprendian !!

  7. These lyrics… Underhand depressive induction? The melody reminds me of Damian Marley’s Patience track too. Somewhat… Now when people type the word Patience, this would be more likely to pop up… Well well.

  8. But it sounds too much like the other song that I don’t remember the name of… The vocals are too similar…
