  1. Dont know if it was intentional or completely out of ignorance, but while Dan held the board correctly (palms parallel to the board’s lines), Gav held it 90 degrees rotated (palms perpedicular). Even if it was a board for demonstrations it wouldn’t break. It’s fine for the laughs, but people tend to seriously injure themselves in this way in examinations and demonstrations.

  2. i’ve done taekwondo for 5-6 years and im a second degree black belt. board breaking is very hard the board breaking at the beginning takes a lot of training most people just do sparring but if you do poomsae or board breaking that takes a lot of skill and power glad to see taekwondo getting noticed
